Where in Dublin or online to buy 0.5KG 2" plates?

The programme I am following suggests I should switch to 1KG fractional increases for bench press, but I do not think they have 0.5KG plates at FLYEfit where I train.

I had a quick look on Amazon, but perhaps there is somewhere locally in Dublin or elsewhere online I could pick them up reasonably priced? Elverys do not seem to sell them.

D8 Fitness in D8 has fractional plates but mostly as sets.

I got mine on Strengthshop. About €16 for the pair with postage on top.

D8, got the set three years ago €65.00 + vat (i guess it was 21%). Pair of .25, .5 .75 and 1.0; not cheap!

Getting 4 of these delivered to Parcel Motel, even without free delivery to NI, seemed the best option, and is what I went with:

Bodypower Cast Iron Olympic (2 Inch) Discs 0.5kg (x2)

I made these a few years back.Cut them from 10mm steel plate.
Made a load of 1.0kg and 0.5 kg plates for my own gym.
If you know of any engineering shop/garage with a plasma or oxy/acetylene cutter they
Could cut them for you very cheaply.

It's an option if you want.

Just as an interesting side note on this.

When making said weights I said for weighing purposes I'd tolerate leeway of maybe + - 20g.So on a 1kg plate between 980g to 1020g would do.

I weighed my own factory made plates afterwards just to see how accurate they were.
Just a bog standard York 280kg Olympic weight set.

    The 1.25kg,2.5kg had differences of + - 200g
The 5kg were up to 250-400g.
I would assume as you go up the weights the discrepancies would rise in accordingly.

I suppose you get this with mass produced plates.
Just seems a lot to me.

Eleiko and the likes would be nowhere near this I presume.
