Edison OS Mini problem: USB DVB-T2 Tuner

I have a weird issue with the following DVB-T2 tuner I bought:
    http://www.dx.com/p/digital-satellite-dvb-t2-usb-tv-stick-tuner-with-antenna-remote-white-476745

My Edison OS Mini is a single DVB-S2 tuner, with USB port front and back. I installed the dvb-usb-rtl2832 driver and the above stick is picked up fine and listed as a tuner.

However, once I plug my terrestrial cable into the tuner, any satellite channel showing freezes until the cable is removed again. Also, trying to scan with this tuner results in 0 terrestrial channels.

Has anyone had this problem or know what might be happening?
