    Hi,

I'm seeking recommendations for a personal trainer based preferably in south Dublin who specialises in Strength and Conditioning?

Basic info: I've recovered from injury and am returning to my sport (boxing) but I want to incorporate some weight training into my regime, something I have intentionally ignored up until this point as I wrongly thought it would bulk me up and slow me down. Having had some time off and time to read up/think I now realise how foolish I am/was, so basically looking for someone to get me going.

I've googled a lot so I have some people in mind but since every website claims to have the best trainers etc.. I thought i'd ask on here and see what you guys/girls think.

As a fighter you dont need to do a massive amount but you do need to do specific work for you look for trainers who actively work with fighters and have a good track record for it. Anyways have a good one and best of luck with the training.

Check out South Dublin Strength & Conditioning in Harolds Cross. The head coach Dave is a great lad and has plenty of experience working with people from combat backgrounds

I would also suggest Dave Hedges in wild geese works with a lot of combat athletes.
