Hi all I'm heading away on holidays in four weeks time with the gf and was wondering if anyone has any good workout ideas or routines to burn as much fat as i can before jetting off?

I'm slim enough at the moment and do go gym just seem to have that small pouch under the belly button i'd love to get rid of even for after the holiday.

Am i on right track by thinking of doing high intensity stuff? and food options?

Bit of info i'm a student just finished my internship so have time off to do it proper now. 6'3 and around 87kgs atm

Diet, calorific deficit is 90%. HIIT will burn a decent amount of cals combined with a good diet it would help a lot.

In such a short period of time, diet is the only meaningful way to make this happen. you need to be in a calorie deficit every day. Cardio and weights will help however its mainly diet.

Ok perfect thanks for the input, should i cut out the heavy weights and just do HIIT with lighter weights ? what sort of calorie deficit should i aim for?

In such a short time I'd go for 25-30%

Your maintenance calories are at about 2500 based on the stats you gave above (assumed age 21 as you said you were a student?). 25-30% knocked of that gives about 1800ish so aim for that many cals per day.

Cut out / down carbs for the next few weeks and you'll notice a massive difference OP

No, take a rest day every 2-3 days, might be an idea to lower intake a little more on those days. Nothing crazy though.

For best results, ensure you’re in a calorie deficit every day. Absolutely everything else is secondary to this, including HIIT.
