Pelosi should by all rights have worn a mask.

But when you present it as a "gotcha" moment, you fail to see that when you, Fox or anyone else lacks any sense of moral standing without first acknowledging that Trump, by contrast to not wearing a mask when it should have been worn, has lead to over 180,000 people dying

She didn't break state laws. There is however a local health guidance in San Francisco that says it should be outdoors. Let's not over-egg it:

Californians can once again get their hair cut inside a salon or barbershop under new COVID-19 guidelines Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Friday [28th August], although it remains to be seen how quickly counties will adapt to the new more lenient guidance.

Handy talking point for Trump and his base will eat it up, I'm sure. That said, I'm not sure Pelosi breaching covid guidelines is exactly the Hillary e-mail scandal that some people cited as the push they needed to vote for Trump.

Rotten Boroughs were the very definition of dysfunctional Democracy in the UK in the 1800s. Cities like Manchester had lower representation than rural Devon villages. Ignoring population shift and not redrawing Electorial boundaries will result in a denial of democratic expression.

That type of betrayal expression gives you Riot, extreme ideologies, Northern Ireland, Bosnia.

In Washington DC outdoor gatherings of more than 50 people are banned under Covid regulations, yet Trump had 1,500 people at his RNC speech. They've no credibility to be pointing fingers. But yes his base will lap it up like they always do, nothing new there.

Which means that there is an imbalance of power on the federal as opposed to the state. It is quite evident that system is creaking right now. Portland, New York and other major cities are in a sad place because the Federal government is in the hands a minority in Rural midwest states and ignoring or flying in the face of Democratic opinion in the major population centers.

So essentially, you are arguing that someone's vote in Leitrim or Roscommon should be weighted to be multiple times more powerful than someone's vote if they are in Dublin or Cork?

With a plethora of polls in today, Joe Biden did remarkably well in mostly all of them:

IBD/TIPP: Biden +8
CNN: Biden +8
Quinnipiac: Biden +10
Suffolk: Biden +5/+7 (with/without third parties)
Selzer & Co.: Biden +8

Fox News also have just in the last hour published they're results of swing states:
Arizona: Biden 49% Trump 40%
North Carolina Biden 50% Trump 46%
Wisconsin Biden 50% Trump 42%

Its quite interesting to observe the media narrative over the weekend. As is the case with every election, the Republican candidate can expect to see a bounce in the polls post RNC convention. This was expected, and it happened, but it was the narrative that it was due to the civil unrest that was the talking point. This despite most people feel that they would be more safe in Biden's America, he is better on race relations and that all this lawlessness is happening in Trump's America.

I guess its more a compelling story to say 'Violence leads to a surge in polls for Trump', than 'Expected bounce in polls for Trump will likely fade away again'. Nonetheless, there seems to be two major issues facing Trump. Biden is consistently polling around 50% compared to Hillary at 45% and and there is only half as much undecideds this time around in a very polarized political landscape. Even if they break in large proportions like they did in 2016, that still might not be enough. But even still, Biden leads amongst independents anyway. Trump has alot of work to do in the next few weeks.
