I have a latitude E7270, i would like to connect two dell P2416ds to it (QHD), i have just realised that the dock i have, dell d1000 only supports two FHD screens.

Is it possible for me to connect one monitor directly to the laptop and one to the hub so that i can connect two QHD monitors, or should i get rid of it and buy two FHDs?

Why would you do that when you can just downres?

The Intel 520 onboard supports three displays at 4K. The issue is the dock which looks to be very old in comparison. Maybe get an active DP splitter.
