Eating habit problems

After a couple of months of losing weight, I have felt like I found an easy way to do it. Although after me going vegan I stopped working out and tried to relax and just eat better. Eventually things went south and I went back to a normal diet. I began relying on breads and cereal for most of my meals. I eventually got rid of those and started eating more nuts. I recently found out just how many calories were in the nuts. that I have been eating. Roasted and Salted Cashews as an example. It seems like when I go from one food that I eat too much, it’s to another food. I can’t kick a bad habit. I eat well apart from overeating the nuts. I don’t eat sugary foods. I don’t drink carbonated drinks. I just can’t kick this one bad habit. Any ideas?

This seems to be a recurrent problem, OP.

If it's like the last time, you're possibly not eating enough and then constantly looking for a snack until you realise the snacks are too much. Educate yourself on nutrition using the stickies and tweak your diet. Get more protein and fat into your meals and you'll crave snacks less.
