Help. Adding a widget to TV box

Hi

I have a Android TV box running Android 5.0

I need to add a widget to the home screen (or somewhere) so I can start it as I need to change settings.

Any idea how to get access to it?



What I'm trying to do

I want to try and run it a hotspot using my Vodafone 4g dongle.

I've downloaded the widget. PPP widget 3
When I plug in my Vodafone 4g dongle PPP widget opens but it asks me to add it to the home screen. This is where I'm stuck
