I have heard that it is not that hard to train your own dog if the breeding is in the dog to start with. I am thinking of taking on a pup over the winter with the intention to train it. Maybe a thread covering training techniques would be good.

Yeah agreed but I don’t have the time to spend to train the dog as u need to have them out three times a day at least for 15 mins and as I am working I would not be able to do this

Not sure where the 3 times a day is coming from. It's not fitness training it's obedience training.

Once a day would do for say 20 minutes or so.

You're better to buy a trained dog if you haven't the time to train them, at least you'll know the result.
No point in buying a pup and expecting someone to train them, the dog has to have it in them to do it. Buy a trained dog and you'll know he has it in him to do it and he's trained.......but don't expect to get them cheap

That's the sort of input needed to train a dog (and owner)
We had a brilliant dog that went through this and worked out great.
But also brought a dog to him that didn't work out, she's great but just not good enough for him to be interested in
