Mitrovic scored against Lithuania and Giroud scored penalty in friendly against Uruguay. (Lloris, Kante and Giroud in starting 11).

At home to Cardiff this Saturday. Could be captain material. I'm tempted.

I don't expect City to put up a big score away to West Ham, I wouldn't be surprised at a West Ham clean sheet tbh.

Why? They haven't kept a clean sheet in their last 8 games. Don't think city will romp them as easy as others but they will still rack up a few goals.

not a hope of a CS.

i've Fabianski, and I'm just hoping for a miraculous amount of save points.

I'm predicting a clean sheet for West Ham, just wouldn't be surprised if they got one, similar to the one they got against Chelsea which was a shock given each sides form at the time. City have an important CL game in Lyon on Tuesday night which they might have one eye on there could be rotation. Their goals are also spread amongst the team so even if they do get a couple, your captain might not score well, it's different against a crap team when half the City team will score well. I just don't consider City players as great captain material this weekend.

    all fair points.

i'll still struggle not to captain Aguero.

Don't you have Ricky? Kun's away form isn't inspiring.

Kun's away games haven't been that easy.

Arsenal Away. City win 0-2. 2 points
Wolves Away. Draw 1-1. 2 points
Cardiff Away. City win 0-5. 6 points
Liverpool Away. Draw 0-0. 1 point
Spurs Away. City Win 0-1. 2 point

Wolves/Cardiff the easy ones and in a 5 goal haul would expect more points from Aguero. The fact it's been 9 away goals and he's contributed to 1 goal isn't captain material imo.

Wolves were still defensive swines back then so it makes one handy game of the five. Only one out of the five goals in that easy one ok could have done better though he was also on reduced minutes then which seems to have gone for now. I'll captain him because he's Aguero anyway. This should be a good game to test the away theory. For strikers he's up there for attempts on goal, only Kane stands out from the rest when it comes to forward away form.

honestly, i'll be surprised if Salah and Aguero aren't the top 2 captain picks this GW.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Laporte rested at the weekend then.

Stones rested last week, Bournemouth at home is the perfect opportunity to give Laporte his rest and have both Laporte and Stones rested ahead of the crazy run, although he wasn’t playing internationally so who knows?

Ideally Sterling as that would cement Mahrez and at a nice price.

And teach all the early buyers a nice lesson too.

It’s only Tuesday night and he’s 82% toward a second rise.

If he scores a brace tonight it’ll be a triple rise by Friday.
