Hi all, a quick question for ye. I need a prop guard for a Mariner 40 on my rib. Kids now old enough to swim from boat. Are the 40-60 a one size fits all and are they easy to fit?
Where would be the best place to get one.

    Thanks in advance.

The blue one will work for you https://marineparts.ie/propellers/propeller-guard/propeller-guard-40-65hp-blue-13/ they are easy to instal but remember you will be drilling holes in your outboard so if it is new it may affect your warranty or the resale of it.

Another option might be a ring prop I used to have one that I used on the canals to stop the weeds getting tangled up but not sure where you would get one I think "Solas" made some.

Thanks for that. It's far from new and at that price will probably double the value of the engine 😂😂

Still cheaper and less traumatic than stitching fingers back on
