It wasn't my intention to put you off buying/going to see the car. Bar that obviously major issue with the timing belt (which the dealer in your link states has been changed), the car is in my view a lovely drive. The 1.0L is adaquately powered and the interior is a nice place to be. I was informed that once the timing belt is changed it should last up to 7 years or another 210,000km before replacement. But be warned a timing belt replacement does cost €1200 on these cars.

I doubt that but it is more modern and comfortable with way more gadgets but it's a completely different car than a evo or impreza.

This fella has committed all kinds of automotive sins. This orange abomination hurts the eyes and even at this remove, it stings the nostrils.

Looked at C5’s in Japan out of curiosity.
2007 3.0 V6. 32, 000km. Looks like it has a full set of spare alloys too.

    Cui bono?

If I was minted, I buy that just to have. The alloys are off a series 1 C5.

Usually a set of Winter tyres on the car and the ones in the boot are for Summer or vice versa

Went to see this about a month ago. Nice looking car but I'm not crazy about the houndstooth seat pattern. I guess I could live with it. Any thoughts on whether these are any good and does the price seem reasonable? I'm thinking it might be a little on the high side for a 2016 but I appreciate that it's low mileage and they were quite expensive new. Also, it's a Japanese import. Don't know whether that makes a difference?
