Is the spec a bit poor on it? Surprised to see manual seats!

Yeah very poor. SE style bumpers too. Seems to be common on 335i cars since the e90 though. Strange.

Yes, I think you had to spec the sport seats for them to be electric in the 335i, they are not heated either and it also has the basic small screen idrive. I'd say the original owner ran out of money by the time they got to the options list.

The chrome on the bumpers narrows it down to either Modern or Luxury spec. The wheels and interior tell it's Luxury. It's a step up from SE but it is the most ugly spec on the exterior IMO. I do like that it is unassuming though

Indeed, according to motorcheck it's a "Luxury" model.

32k on the clock, 5.0 V8. As description says €30k but it's now advertised for €25k.

    Gran turismo flashbacks

I think there’s something charming about a 335i in plain clothes.

It’s like the opposite of most BMWs

CRW expiry? Does that suggest DOE/CVRT rather than NCT?

why does it say "does not require a financial contribution."? Highly unlikely to be on finance at that age.

Im sure he means that it does not require money spent on it. Which is, of course, a big fat lie.

BMW V8's of that era have lots of very expensive problems.

That was my thought too but had to think about it for a few seconds. Peculiar way of saying it though. Was guessing english was not his first language but his name sort of implies differently. Seems a crazy way to drop €10k though.

To be fair, you can tell by the colour of the alloys that english is not the owners first language.

As the owner of a 5.7 V8 SUV, that X5 is a total waste of time. If you're going to spending a fat lump of cash just fueling a car, get something at least a bit fun. My Jeep is lovely and makes a nice noise but an SUV is an SUV, it's not a petrol head's dream, no matter the displacement.

An LPG conversion would make it more attractive

To be fair those V8 X5's are pretty underwhelming, nice sound though. Nice car to rumble around town in (if one could afford to).

5.7 Hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not in the UAE, Oman.

Its been troublesome so I think we may move it on soon. We were going to buy a second car like a Cooper S or a Golf R but have put it on the back burner again, probably not to return.

I love the look of the grand Cherokee and would buy one if seen a good one for sale here... they rare here though ... and it would be the 3 litre one here! Haha.

What kind of things giving ya trouble on it so far? Expensive to fix?

Suspension bits mainly, then a new water pump and radiator. They reused the same pipes and clamps which was a bad idea as the lower hose blew off and dumped all the coolant out. I just caught it before it went bang and overheated. Really the biggest issue is parts for American brands are VERY expensive here. It's going back to the mechanic again this week as there's an extremely strong smell of petrol coming from around the drivers door area which I'm hoping is just a leaky fuel line. Injectors are dry thankfully. I replaced the washer bottle last year and it's broken again. Stupid stuff but constant. My wife wants shot of it and I'm finding it hard to disagree.
