Looking to purchase a Bora Basic induction hob (re-circulating). Would welcome any recommendations where I might buy Home or abroad at good price. Happy to take any PMs thanks.

Afraid not. No retailers though available through some kitchen suppliers. Have gone with an Elica

Note the cubic metre speed of each. The recirculation version is less powerful than the external duct version. I will need to recirculate though as hob will be on island and too far to externally duct.

My kitchen supplier can get me an Elica "nikolatesla" one for about €2300, which would be 20% more powerful than the AEG one...but I'm undecided if 20% more power is worth an extra €750!

A friend of a friend has one for about a year. I'll find out tomorrow how happy she's been with hers, what brand it is, where she got it from and for how much etc.

Will post again tomorrow with that info.

The recirculation version €100 cheaper than the amazon site (Albeit shipping is €32 rather than amazon's €20):

I'll be ordering my recirculating one from here in a couple of weeks.

That friend of a friend who has a recirculating hob built in extractor for the last year or more says it's great. However my friend forgot to ask about the brand and the cost of it, but I did learn that she bought it via a high-end kitchen providers in Waterford so I'm guessing it wasn't at all cheap. Occasionally she needs to open a window but it doesn't put her off. I'm led to believe her kitchen is quite large. I think this design is more suited to open plan and spacious kitchen areas. Smaller kitchens would be better to extract to an outside wall.
