Im intersted in politics and want to study it at 3rd level and the best courses to study it involves economics (obviously). I find Macroconomics very interesting e.g Trade, Taxation, National Income, Inflation. But I'm not a big fan of the Micro and maths part of Economics partly because I do OL maths.

So I have a few questions!

    1. Since I have a slight dislike for micro should I reconsider studying it at 3rd level?

    2. Would an OL maths student like me, averaging in the 50-60's be fit for economics at 3rd level?

    3. Which course would mosr easy to graduate from and present best career opportunities?DCU's Economics, Politics, Law or the new UCD programme Philosophy, Politics and Economics?

    Thanks
