    Hi

I seem to be developing a sensitive tooth while drinking water and other liquids. I am now using sensitive toothpaste (Colgate) to treat and repair

How long before it works and is there anything else I could use to heal it?

After you brush with the toothpaste put some on your finger and smear it across the sensitive area and don't rinse the toothpaste off.

There are some products like seal and protect or fluoride varnishes that can be helpful too. These are applied by a dentist.

If the gum has receded a lot then sometimes it can be hard to manage.

You could always avoid what ever causes the sensitivity.
