Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

I think this is starting to go around in a pretty large circle, so may be closed soon -the same material is being posted time and time again

I'm locking it for now, and the mods will discuss where it will go.

Anyone who decides to start a new thread will find themselves in hot water, as will those who take this debate across to other threads
