I'm looking to hire a boat for 10/12 people going from East coast (probably around Carlingford) to the Isle of Man. Travelling over Saturday morning and back Sunday Evening.

Does anybody know who might offer this and what price would you be looking?

Have a chat with Eoin of Skerries sea tours http://www.skerriesseatours.ie/ I know he did trips for the TT race so he might be able to work something out.

Thanks Fergal. I tried him but no luck. I was half looking for a ball park figure to see if it was worth pursuing. Anything over €100 per head would be too much

Two days work, fuel and accommodation not much of a wage if any out of €1000 I say you would be lucky or uninsured to get anything for that price.

How long would the crossing take? I know it's 30 miles from Ardglass to Peel, possibly 45 from Carlingford?

It used to take me 3- 4 hours from Skerries to port St Mary depending on the weather that was in a sports cruiser.

Thanks Fergal, the more I look into it the more I think it's a no goer.
