Mant begins the temporal realignment sequence.
Spachens directs his attention to Nathan as he puts on his surgical gear.

The minute the tank lights up, we begin extraction, we could really use your help, though of course we recognise the risk to your person. Would you be willing?

    Fulchz seems to be sweating.

    "Let's do it."

"Ever seen anything like this" Mufasta'r says to his companion as he is pointing towards the green mark.

He activates his comms to transmit to Dr. Cole.

"At local tram station, 2 bodies, green burn in the ground, heavily set..."

    "Perhaps some energy trace?"

"Tram stopped on track, no sign of blockage or malfunction."

"Skeleton on the track, is one body... second body, on station, no sign of assault"

    "Advise please doctor?"

Mufasta'r decides to inspect the energy burn up closer.

He signs to his companion to stay behind.

"Copy that... doctor... going to check it out...".

The other two wait for the comm call. Then the light on the tank turns green.

    "Okay, open the tank Mant"

As the doors lift open, Nathan hears Fulchz mutter some Vilani profanity. The man within appears to have crytaline skin.

    "Spachen...can we operate on...that?"

"We'll have to...turning incision lasers to full strength...Dr Cole, Dr Fulchz I advise you do the same"

The burn is accompanied by a warping of the train tracks, this was enough to liquefy the metal at points, but more, light appears to be refracted around the burn site, as if there was a lens over it. The area emits a high pitched whistle, though with no obvious cause.

Nathan makes a precise incision, allowing Spachens to lift the organ out of the skull rapidly enough. Once both their hands are free of the tank volume, Fulchz decelerates time as rapidly as possible with undue stress to spacetime in the room. Though not perfectly, a dull shudder is heard from the metal.

The organ itself is shocking. Gelatinous and perfectly reflective. It almost slips out of Spachens hands, though he manages to place it in a metal container. As he does it flows to fill up the container.

"Well, I don't know what we have, but it's out. Thanks Dr. Cole" Spachens says once the organ is contained.

Kei looks at the device to see if she knows what it is.

"My pleasure, now let's see what the bio analyzer says to this thing. I suggest we keep it in a Class A biocontainment field."

Nathan monitors the hacking attempt for any change in pattern now that the procedure was successful and takes extra countermeasures for the protection of their sample.

The hacking started in earnest once Mant began the tanks shut down cycle and ceased, almost as to the second, when they removed the organ.

The bio analyzer tells almost immediately, to no great surprise, that the organ does not match the genetic or chemical structure of any known race. The atoms within the sample are all aligned the same way magnetically, very rare for biological material.

Although highly modified, Kei recognises some of the basic circuitry. It's a data shunter, high bandwidth, usually used for scientific purposes, to upload Petabytes of information from world to world.

The trams lights are on, the door on the second carriage displays a green light indicating it will open on approach.

"You know it's odd. For years I've had access to the basic medical databases, but I never needed it. Then I download the entire imperial database on human physiology. Right down to pointless facts about stress limits of heal joints and spine compression ratios.

    Checking out safe entry point.

Check for access panel or utilize dewpaw blade to cut open entry point.

As he aproaches the carraige door opens automatically.

Under the carriage he can see a panel the dewpaw blade could cut into.
