Of course it is. For the price I'm tempted, even though I have a 170 piece set of the same brand. Obviously it's not going to be able to do everything you'd want with a car, but it's a good base.

Reserved one in Drogheda and got a call from them 10 mins later to say it was an error on their system. I was told to try Dundalk as they have some. I've done that now and no sign of a call from Dundalk yet!

This is an excellent quality set. I've had mine for years, and if it wasn't for the the hinges breaking on the case, I'd still have all of it. :)

Looks like a pricing error though...

You won't use any sockets below 8mm, but yeah, t'is a decent set.

I've given up buying anything from Halfords for that reason. A few times the above has happened to me. In this day and age for their online business not to be accurate is beyond me but, personally, it's easier as a customer just not to bother with them. Hopefully you get the BA from Dundalk.

Plus you can't just go to aldi and buy one, you have to wait till they decide you can buy them.

Is there a way to work out trade card prices? I have one but I never know what things are going to cost until I actually pay for them.

You can log in to your account on the Halfords website and it will display the trade price and the retail price.

    Damn!
The website wouldn't let me sign up so had to do Evey thing in store. Was never given any log in details.
Surprised the card works with this offer.
I remember when I got the card the woman drilled me about it not working on anything with a discount!

Seem to be none in Liffey Valley. Typical, havn't needed to use a socket in years and then two instances pop up this week, say I'll buy a set again, see this and gone :D

Bring it back, lifetime warranty. I know it's not supposed to cover moving parts, but it should be obvious it was a defect rather than misuse. At the very worst, they sell new ratchet kits for a couple of euro

The lifetime guarantee now covers ratchets and ratchet spanners.

None in stock in any of their stores . Not a bargain if you can’t buy it , just an advert.

Probably doesn't bode well for me - have a set reserved in Coolock but can't make it there until tomorrow. Will ring tomorrow & see if they still have it
