walk in wardrobe

    HI

    I am trying to fit a walk-in wardrobe to an existing bedroom I have a space of
    2.4 x 2.2 metres is this size ok for walk-in wardrobe

    Its not huge, but workable... you would get about 6 linear metres of ceiling to floor wardrobe (standard depth 600mm), and a standing area of nearly 2sqm (1m by 1.8m if your door/opening is on the 2.2m side) - its enough space to get changed in.

    Our architect had stuck one in on our drawings for a similar sized area, but we went for an ensuite in the space in the end.

    line it out in your back garden if unsure.

    Surely that's wide enough for space either side of a central walkway?

    I've used narrow walk-ins like this, they're fine.

    Unless there some building regulation that forbids it?
