Decent media player with 4k?

Hi I got this (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01IDLV9UC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to replace a WDTV Live Media player as I wanted to play 4k content. It couldn't seem to play audio from DTS files. Is there a decent 4K media player out there that will play most files thrown at it? Thanks M

Even if you spend more, it's not all rosey.

I have a few Amazon FireTV devices and while they will play anything, they won't pass through immersive audio to a receiver, instead insisting on transcoding it to DTS+.

Apparently, the nVidia shield will do things properly;

(though it's a significant cost increase over the model you posted).
