IR over hdmi

    Hi,

    I need to send remote control IR signals over hdmi.

    Can anyone recommend a good kit. Good cheapish one on ebay and it worked but you have to be right up close with the remote for it to work. That's no good.

    I see proception do a kit. Anyone used it.

    Or can anyone recommend a good kit.

    I used "Neet HDMI cat6 cable extenders" that I got on amazon and they worked really well over 25 meter runs. The 3 satellite receivers were all in one room and I just had to put the ir receivers on the front of the tv's.

    It might not be exactly what you are looking for if you have only a short run.
