Finished just outside top 10k. Poor last week and a decent score would have been inside 10k but delighted overall. Amazing what happens with FPL when the season doesn't go down to the wire.

76 pts to finish the season. Waiting for final rankings that will the best of my season. So pretty happy with that but overall not making top 20k is a disappointment...


My Burnley duo at the back (Pope & Lowton) was my main mistake for the run-in. They almost never delivered when needed (from GW32 WC onwards).
Milivojevic maybe my best signing of the season. Cheap and got me so many unexpected double digit returns. Also made my BB a success. My personal hero (since Jesus was rarely there for the taking).


Transfers worked great this GW too. Alli -> Salah (C). Kane would have been captained otherwise. And not taking the hit for Mustafi -> Pool' def (not sure at all I'd have gotten Robertson, was more hedging towards TAA).
Jordan Ayew was also a disaster to happen. What was I thinking? I knew he was sh*te. seen so much of it in France. Should have gone for Newcastle's Perez instead.


Overall though, can be happy of my run-in and my use of the chips. Was 350k at GW30. Can hope to have this number diviede by 10 today. I still don't like them though. They do bring some fun but add too much luck to the game for my liking.

101 points to top off the season...triple captain Kane payed off. Would’ve liked Perez to come off the bench for Jesus, but at least Jesus got something.

My Vardy to Giroud punt might have summed up my season. My main private league rival having Robertson and subbbing in Mustafi and Fabianski to pip me by 3 it’s suns up my life.

Glad the season is over, I spent the season dodging points. Huge squads at the big teams have made the game very difficult, or more interesting I suppose, if your guesses were better than mine.

Saturday I would have had Sallah and Kane(c) but his 0.1 m rise overnight led me to Mahrez to Martial this morning which was a big flop.

Managed to pip league leader in my main league, who I was trailing by 7 going into today and hold on in other mini leagues. Looking like 300kish finish so an average season but it'll be my highest Overall Rank of the season if I get any kind of green arrow so that might sweeten it a little more.

On the Ederson yellow. My rival's sub keeper didn't play so he got lumped with the -1 from a no show.

Finished on 2,334 points and an OR of 5,453 - my highest of the season.

Would have liked a top 5k finish but can’t complain with 6 top 10k finishes in 8 seasons.

We finished very close. I wound up on 2,332 points for an OR of 5,795. My 70 points today moved me up a whopping 10 places! A mediocre final few weeks saw me land the wrong side of the target top 5k mark.

It's 7 top 10k finishes in 10 seasons for me. HEWT.

Edit: My total last season was 2,337. So close!

Top 50k is always the aim. 100k the absolute minimum. So I can't complain (for a change!).

In the last 5 seasons I've one top 300 finish.
One top 10k
2 top 50k.
And one top 100k.

Consistent enough.

The next aim is to be consistently top 10k.

Finished on 84 which leaves me at 216k.
My highest rank of the season bar GW1 but my second worst OR ever.
This Stops my run of 3 top 10ks in a row and I am now at 5 top 10ks in the last 7 seasons.

Just never got going this year and made a load of big mistakes in the middle GWs.

Jesus Christ, I ended up losing my main private league by 1 ****ing point.

I was about 100 points behind, pulled it right back the last few weeks, and had to overturn around 35-40 points this week.

I took a 4 point hit to bring in Milner who didn’t even play. Also had Chambers, Milner and Vert in defense so after autosubs only had 2 defenders.

If Milner had played or I even had a third defender who had played, I would have overturned the lead. Jesus’ yellow would have been an extra point in the bag too, same with Alli not starting.

Devastated.

You literally cannot get any closer than that.

33,473 final OR. Best of the season. Top 1% annal aim achieved for the 6th time (out of 7 complete seasons). Could have been better but overall .

Yusuf jumped from 6th to in GW37 to win but in fairness to him he hadn't been outside the top 100 since GW 10

76(-4) for me. A total tally of 2305 points & a season-high rank of 12,792. My season only really got going from GW34 onwards. Yo-yo'd between 37k & 87k from GW16 to GW33, which was very frustrating. Still, made good use of the chips & had a really strong finish with 7 green arrows in a row. Looking forward to the break from FPL for a while though.

Oh it's gutting. I lost out on 1300e by losing my money league by 1 point today. I also finished a few seasons ago in the same league 1 point off top as well. It's a killer. You'd rather lose by 300 points!

Which is horrific considering I was 12k and 5k in the two previous seasons.
Didn't have the same level of interest in the game this year but also had some terrible luck early in the season.

Ended up focusing on my family league which I managed to win so that's some consolation.

Same here. A one point loss after closing a 120 point lead. All the little things today - ddg and smalling not playing, wilson's goal, fab's penalty save, jesus taking his shirt off -- and all the things over the season that could have made it different. But I suppose the other guy could say the same too

Poor season, but nice to get some result in final week. Captain PVA my hero and earned me 50 euro

99 points today to finish on 2310. My personal best. Jumped overall about 12k places to 11009 which I am pretty happy with.

Won my main league by over 100 in the end.

Slightly miffed I didn’t get the 100 today.

Dreadful year. After finishing a little over 9k last year I thought I had this FPL business cracked. How wrong was I. I dropped to around 360k this year.

It went tits up from gw24 to gw30.

75 for the week gives me a 70k finish for my worst ever season. 8k, 50k 1k, 5k 12k 1k 4k, 46k and now 70k are my finishes. For the amount of time I think about the game the last two years are really disappointing. Only consolation was I managed to stay up in that elite 64 league and I finally caught up with my 8 yr old son today and beat him by 3 points.

8 Green arrows in a row get me from 400k to 84k. Decent finish but crap first half killed me. Cheers for all the advice and info in here. Be back in August

Between gameweeks 21-33 I literally could not move up or down much
Averaged out around 300k during that whole period and the game was pure joyless
All that kept me going was the LMS otherwise I may have just packed it in

I'm putting it down to holding WC later than January for first time ever !
I'll be playing it at my usual time next season and will be BB after WC1 to WC2
Freehit worked out well for me this year but I think I may hold it till skinny week next year

Finished the season at 204k which is a damn sight better than the 548k I was at going into GW34.

Awful season. My worst since I took the game seriously in 2010. Worse than the year of Ramsey and Yaya

My signature late rally was welcome but losing my League 1 game by 6 points when a win would have seen me make a great escape has put a damper on things.

Although can we talk about PVA please? 3 goals in his last 3 games! The perfect game today: Goal, assist, clean sheet and 3 bonus.
