    Again I ask

And now that I'm on the right side of one I can say it without bitterness
The assist rule is a joke

Zaha may have intended to pass to PVA but it was a horrible attempt at it and would not have reached him without shawcross
Who knows maybe he was looking for benteke

The whole intended destination thing is stupid

Easiest way is porbsly just to go with last attacking player to play the ball towards the scored altogether
    Not ideal but less ambiguity

Mawson has done absolutely everything to score an own goal the last 3 weeks
Lucky the shot was judged on target today

I paid the premium for goal threat but at the other end

    Also
    Jordan Ayew
    What were we thinking !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,255 ✭✭✭✭km79

Harry Kane’s effort for the own goal was better than the one for the sitter he missed first half
    Chronic!!!!

Vardy to Ayew was a no brainer.

Shed load of extra cash, Leicester are awful and at least Swansea are trying.

I had wood who was yellow flagged and used the extra cash
But if I could do it all again I'd take his 2 games over Ayews 3 and the 4 points

I know he was suspended for 3 of them but Swansea have scored 2 goals in 8 games
    TWO GOALS

I knew it was bad but not that bad !

Moss is a god awful ref

What was Bertrand at though !!!! Boot it out of play or let it go dead but don't keep it in

After some disturbingly in depth Google image searching I can confirm Arnautovic had an ice pack on his knee whne on the bench suggesting a knock rather than a muscle injury

How do I know this ?
A player was pictured behind Moyes towards end of game. But only his arms and legs were visible with an ice pack on knee
But there were a lot of arm tattoos.............

I don't think people realise (or at least consider in their analysis) that most of the bad stuff we see is down to how they're trained to ref and what the FA looks for in a referee.

They seem to love the ones who give as few big decisions as possible, which actually limit the FPL points available for penalty takers in the game. IMO penalty takers become much more of a commodity in this game if VAR comes in.

Think on a given week how many penalties you see get given that shouldn't have been penalties, and then compare that to the number that should have been penalties but weren't given. For me, the latter number is significantly higher, and it is down to how referees are basically conditioned to approach games.

Moss is overweight , unfit and can’t keep up with play
That leads to him being in poor positions and basically guessing for a lot of big calls
He is a terrible ref and I’ve no idea how he is still a premier league ref

Just checked the scores after being out all day.

McArthur and Daniels on bench boost but man, those injury time goes conceded by Spurs and Southampton cost me another 20 odd points :(

    7 points from 7 (19 but took -12).

Not too disappointed except for the -4 for Bavies and being outside the 100k mark I could have gambled starting Ryan and Dunk rather than benching them.

It’s all about Jesus (tc) now for me and my team.

This update from a West Ham fan also seems to suggest it was nothing serious.

    Good stuff
    Gw38 is looking good again
He was playing up top again by himself and ran himself into the ground by all accounts

Not to completely discredit what could still be a perfectly credible source, but that lad has 297 followers. Not sure he is a card carrying part of the West Ham media.

He picked up a knock too
    Didn’t look serious

Sterling and Jesus going nuts would probably help my OR. But with league leader having Sterling TC'd, and 3rd place having Jesus TC'd, I don't know what to want.

I do know a Salah masterclass would be incredible, as would a Mustafi goal.

    Jesus could hurt me
    Sterling can help me
    Salah can save me

Sterling could murder me if he goes mad. Sweating waiting on this team news at 12:30.

A jesus masterclass could see me finish top 100k which was the target

Kyle Walker starts. So eh I guess that is something at least. Anything to be said for a 1 nil from a Walker unassisted goal :)

Sterling can help me though in one of my 2 main leagues
    Jesus can defo not !!!

This could be annihilation. I've been thankful for City going pretty nuts the last 2 weeks.

    Now, not so much.

If Huddersfield could keep Sterling in particular to 10 points or less, I'd consider it success.

Sterling(TC), Sane and Jesus in it.

Brought in Tadic Naughton and Laporte. Disaster!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,255 ✭✭✭✭km79

That’s basically the team that won City the league by Xmas
Obviously aguero is injured and possibly Kompany but stoned starting ahead of Laporte today is a reward for the role he played until Xmas .
There will be changes weds night make no mistake .
Bernardo is starting it’s just a question for who . Yaya. Foden too in attacking positions
I’d be very happy if sterling starts up top instead of Jesus ;)

Obviously 90 minutes to get through first here though
I also expect bravo to start. And Krul may do so also for Brighton

Huddersfield will be playing for their lives and the games don't get too much easier from here on out. Odds massively against them getting anything from this game but they won't be on the beach or capitulate either.

I fully expect "Sterling misses a sitter" to be the most repeated post today

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,043 ✭✭✭remoteboy

I’d be happy with a goal apiece for Jesus and Sterling and a Sane brace. Don’t think there’s many Sane TCs out there.

My rival has him not only captained for the first time, but TC'd. Expect a hat trick.

Have Sterling TC. My previous 2 TC choices didn't even return as much as an assist.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

Sterling TC, Silva and Jesus. Biggest match of the FPL season

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,255 ✭✭✭✭km79

Huddersfield have a poor away scoring record
But I think they may get one today
Just hope it’s not Schindler !

    Great chance David Silva saved

Kdb is mad for a goal . Tried a ridiculous effort there . He was the one I really wanted but didn’t make sense to sell and buy back salah . And I’ll need that free transfer now too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,255 ✭✭✭✭km79

A MASSIVE chance for Pritchard saved

Huddersfield are having a right go
    Pressing very high.
Risk being caught in behind but it’s admirable

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,255 ✭✭✭✭km79

Kdb just wide from sane pass

Not 100% sure why they'd approach that way. A draw would be likely a season saver for them.

Yes a point is all they need but they obviously feel the high press is the way to go
It’s working so far but is high risk

Compared to stokes bizarre approach last week at Anfield when it was still nil all and they stuck with that despite a draw being no good it’s refreshing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,255 ✭✭✭✭km79

    Pritchard close again
    Good save ederson

This is a weird game !

To be honest, I think playing the percentages, the defensive approach was the right one.

If they go toe to toe with Liverpool they're likely another victim of a 4 nil defeat. Keep it at nil all, and you can nick a chance and win it. They didn't nick a chance.

    I agree
But they didn’t even attempt to nick a chance for the last 20 minutes
That’s the period of the game I’m referring to
Setting up defensive until that point was the way to go
    But then have a go

Huddersfield need to get a goal first half to have something to hang on to
No way they will keep up this intensity and it's roasting too
