Over the last 8 months I’ve adapted a much healthier lifestyle and my eating has been better. I used to get no exercise and eat complete crap. I’ve cut out all sugar drinks, chocolate and other sweats. I’m vegan now also. Not sure if that’s relevant or not. Anyways, I’ve been recently noticing myself sway more to the high carb foods. Cereals, brown bread toast with peanut butter. That’s maknly my breakfast. I’ve noticed that after eating fruit I’m still hungry and eat more normal food. I’m finding it terribly hard to bury my old eating habits. I don’t want to end up the same way I used to be. Any ideas ?

Well done on healthy eating but are you being too restrictive?
Could you incorporate some carbs into your meals? Maybe youre burning more and your body is looking for energy and carbs are a goid source.

I feel like absolute crap after eating more than I should. My weight hasn’t really increased but i feel like my face looks pudgier. I know these aren’t serious issues, but it’s definitely affecting me more than just a diet. It’s gotten a bit out of control. I love being vegan. I just can’t find that fruit will fill me up and then I start to overeat with the likes of toast or something. And with starting work I’ve been too tired to hit the gym as much. I can’t imaging I’m burning more than I’m eating. I feel bloated quite often.

What do you mean by a vegan diet? You've only referred to fruit so far? It's possible you're not eating enough or not eating the right foods to stop that hunger.

Decisions of what to eat are made at the supermarket not at home, if I have bread I eat bread, if I don't have it I don't eat it. If you can't control impulses you simply don't buy the thing. Fruit shouldn't really be the basis for any meal and certainly isn't good for satiation, there is a big difference in some fruit or asomething like a protein based smoothie for me, which can keep away hunger until 3PM for me. Give us a rundown of what you eat.
