Daniel Bryan returns to wrestling after 3 years and I have no interest at all in his first PPV match back because of that lump.

With this following after Greatest Royal Rumble, which followed an endurance Wrestlemania 34, I think I'm tapping out on watching PPV's for a bit, will check in on live threads the morning/afternoon after.

GRR was only a house show advertisement for Saudi Arabia. Backlash is a proper PPV and in the spot of one of the better annual shows they do.

So I'm confused. What does Reigns vs Joe have to do with the Universal title? Since Reigns hasn't fought a PPV this year without the title involved in some way.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. He should never be in segments like that in the first place, unless he’s in Elias’ position (minus the guitar obv). He was a legitimate, main event heel in NXT and they’ve completely switched his character since he was brought up to the main roster. He’s terrible at what he’s doing right now, nobody wants to see him going through the motions as a face, all he is a flashy entrance at this point (you were spot on Dolph! ).

That match was worse than that previous segment. Daniel Bryan should have squashed that giant idiot. He's brutal. This beat down is a joke. Great heat bulid, but where's this goon gonna take it?

Cass is a tag team wrestler at best, he looks lost in there with someone like Bryan. Having said that, if they're trying to push the guy I thought having him tap so quickly made him look fairly weak
