Hi folks, I work in Dublin near crossfit navitas on Camden st and underdog boxing on cuffe st..
there's a gym in work that I use before i start work and then when on a break during my shift..
I want to swap my pre work gym sessions with crossfit sessions or some power boxing/hiit boxing classes.. I can't decide which would be best for me..
32 year old male, good health and moderately fit..
can anyone out there advise me on what they think would be best..

whats your current height/weight and what do you want to get from your training?

what do you think you need the most work on? Better mobility because you struggle to even touch your toes? Better strength because pull ups are hard? Better conditioning because running a 5km under 30mins would be tough?

    Any injuries?

    I'm 5'8, 77-78kg, comfortably running 5k in under 26 min.

No serious injuries to report.. some damaged ankle ligaments last year but nothing else

In regards to what I want from training.... All of what you mentioned is what I'm looking to improve

Was a member of Underdog for 2 months or so, Cardio based boxing classes are enjoyable, But hard to justify the cost for what it is, Essentially a boxercise class.
They also have Strength and Conditioning classes, But it's mostly interval stuff, and as the classes are mostly dominated by ladies, You'd need to be putting more weight on the bar, for which there isn't enough time to do.

    I'd recommend the crossfit.

I did the intro to boxing in underdog and have kept it on as my conditioning, but for strength and mobility work etc I still have my normal gym membership. I wanted to learn to box and enjoy it as conditioning as it's the area I struggle to motivate myself to do. I've never done any of their hiit or power boxing classes but from the equipment that's around it's not really geared towards strength building.
It's enjoyable but expensive and definitely doesn't seem in line with your goals. I'd say go for crossfit.
