Some interesting decorating choices. Minimalists they are not.

    So tacky!
I am coughing just looking at the photos, can feel the dust ..

You'd need sunglasses going into that bathroom - the glare would blind you.

This is a relative statement of course, but that's actual real value considering the size of the house and the location (Sandymount).

I thought that first picture was of a crash mat at the bottom of a slide!

Yeah... that is a swingers club.
Big mattress. Mirror on the ceiling (well, looks like it anyway)
Just cant locate the bowl for the carkeys.

Irish Times has an article online about it - headline implies as much TBH...

    “Noughties Pleasure Dome” :pac:

You'd easily spend €100k or more doing up that house. Would someone pay half a million for a house there?

I'd pay 385. Right beside a school with a couple of bus routes running past your door. Walking distance to the Dart. St. Anne's nearby. Raheny village up the road.

If it was on the south side, in an area with only half those things, people wouldn't even ask that question.

My only issue would be the lack of on street parking on that main road outside.

Yup 2.5ml for 3 massive apartments. 2, 3 and 3 bedrooms. That's really good value considering the rents you would get for that.

I'm absolutely appalled that this 2 bedroom, terraced cottage is priced at €215k. Did I mention it looks like it hasn't been lived in in near 20 years? It's not even habitable! Although it is a bit sad that the front of the house and the front garden look fairly well looked after, you'd wonder if either a neighbour has been doing that or the person who lived there kept up appearances but lived in this inside :(

The house is worthless, it's the land it sits on that's worth €200k +, the house might even have a negative value as to what it would cost to demolish and clear off the site.

It's corduff though. Not the nicest of neighbourhoods. Still, it's Dublin and that makes it valuable.

It's an old council mid terrace though so pretty much zero chance of being able to demolish. Extensive refurb could make a job of it, but still smack bang in Corduff so that is a factor. Would be ideal for someone from the area who doesn't want to leave but wants to get on the property ladder.

If you told a local you were buying a 2 bed in Stoneybatter for 350k off a professional married couple who are both men 30 or 40 years ago you would probably have got some funny looks also. Reputations change and all those areas will more than likely be gentrified in the next 30 years.

James Martin (British TV Chef) has put his house up for sale. More money than sense (or taste) is the phrase that comes to mind.

That guest room with the mental wallpaper and fish sculpture is horrible!

It's funny how a chef can have no sense of taste.

Whatever Architect or Engineer designed that house should be permanently disbarred from their profession - house looks massive from the outside yet you couldn't swing a cat inside as all the rooms are tiny!

An absolute mess of a house altogether.
