The irony being winning streak was on not long before this program, which involved gambling.

I'd say if he mentioned the national lottery there would have been a cut in transmission. Can't be slaying them sacred cows on the national broadcaster!

It wouldn't be the 1st time the transmission was cut ;)

That prick was stealing money from childrens birthday cards, I don't like how he is acting like the victim.

I remember now talktojoe was talking about never getting a birthday card let alone actually get the money, while sniffling away with his Gucci hanky:rolleyes::)

The viewer prize for the show is essentially a gamble too, you are paying out about €2 to win €10k €5k.

Gamble on the cost of a text or phone call to try and win €5,000.

Love the "SUPPLIES" ad. Its deeply existential, like what's he going to do next?

    Can you find me...

The severed head of your next door neighbour.
    A Brendan O'Connor voodoo doll.
    The PVC Gimp Mask.

    60 Seconds...go!

I like the Hawaii 5-0 theme which plays over this part of the show.

I like nothing else about this contrived part which a researcher ensured they had all the items Ray would ask them about already locatedin the house earlier this week.

Randomly asking for a Batman figurine. Hmmm...

Anne Marie is glad she gambled on that doubler

    €600 though?

If you allow for inflation it's not much more than the thruppence which one contestant won from Bunny Carr on Quicksilver back in the day.

Is this the worst way of engaging with homeowners on a chat show that has ever been dreamt up?

    I'm guessing 'yes'
