Hi, I'm on the Eir prepay simplicity plan and have been for several months and found the 4G coverage great. I often use my phone to tether to my laptop. But in the last few weeks I haven't been getting 4G much at all, i'm usually getting 'H' or 'H+' and find it very slow. I live between Cork City and Limerick City and it is the same in both counties.

Why is this happening? I will be switching to Vodafone if it doesn't improve.

Can you try turning your handset off for at least 5 minutes and then back on. This will do an automatic location update. Let me know how you get on.
