1 month to get fit!

    Hi all,

    Would appreciate some advice...

I play football... Recently picked up and injury and I'll miss the heavy cardio building of the pre-season.

If I had 1 month to build cardio as fast as I can in a gym (minimal outside running given the climate in Canada), how would I do it?

Not got much experience in gym, but have been told the HIIT sessions might be a good shout.

    Cheers!

What injury have you got that stops you football training but not HIIT?

    HIIT can be anything.

Can you just get on a rower and do intervals there?

If ypou can get your hands on the Insanity programme, it's great. I did it a couple of years ago and got pretty fit pretty fast. It's 60 days tho...

Do something that makes you want to throw up. 100 squats as quickly as possible. 10 burpees every minutes on the minute. Etc etc

Thanks all - have a tweaked ligament in my knee so trying to avoid risking that while getting some cardio in!
