Probably going to go Sanchez I'm on a free hit.

My head says Lukaku TC, my gut says: head, what the hell are you thinking!?

Been on Lukaku TC since the DGW fixtures were announced. Will then BB in 37

The only other possibility is Vardy TC, but only if I have genuine reason closer to the time to think Lukaku won't start both games.

These DGW have always been about Kane, now tempted by Vardy. Who ever I go with it will be a TC.

    Anyone using the FHTC chip?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 551 ✭✭✭elbyrneo

Context important I guess. I'm 38 points ahead of 2nd in a league with a decent prize pot. A few other players close behind 2nd too. I have Just TC and BB left. Thinking of playing percentages and TC'ng Lukaku. Expecting chasers to do that too. But if I was trailing and needed to make ground i might have gone Vardy or Sanchez or Pogba. Still thinking Vardy to be honest.

Ill be captaining Lukaku this week and TC Kane in GW37.

Kane should be back to full fitness by then, playing against two teams who have nothing to play for and gunning for the golden boot.

Its also worth mentioning that Kane scored 8 in the final 3 games of last season :)

I'm thinking Kane TC in week 36 against Watford.

    FH in 35
    BB in 37

This weeks captain is a toss up between Lukaku or Vardy. Probably Vardy.

Using BB so just normal Capt for big Rom at the min

Going for Kane triple captain I think. He should have been given a goal at last game week from Eriksen's free kick brushing his shoulder on the way in and reckon Manchester city defense is looking leaky. Bench injured so will have to keep that for the next double game week so this is the only shot for triple captain in a double game week and reckon Kane has the best chance of scoring over the two games.

    Either Kane or Vardy TC.

I'm the only one left in my league with the TC chip left and have around 100 points to make up.

    Which is the best option?

someone like Eriksen who no one else owns in the league if you have 100 points to make up

Between those two I'd go Kane. But if you have Lukaku I'd go him. He's the best TC option for gw34 if you ask me

Actually Sanchez better. Key for you is the 100 point gap. You need to be TCing someone who ideally no one else owns then hoping they can deliver a big score.

TCing lukaku or Kane who might get a big score but lots of others have as captain doesn't make you the gains you need at this late stage of the season. Sanchez has the possiblity of 2/3 goals and 2/3 assists over the two games a tasty 108 points as TC!

If I had sanchx the TC would be less of an issue
    It would be on him
If Salah wre to go off with any hint of an injury tonight I will have him

I'm winning my ML by 72 points, so I'm going to play conservatively and go Lukaku, single captain.

Vardy (VC) (Not that it matters!)

Could yet switch these around, but that's what I'm on at the moment. :)

There's only three of us in the league and the other two don't own Kane and can't afford to bring him in without taking a hit.

I can't afford to bring Sanchez in without a hit, so I think it's going to be Kane TC!

Single captain Lukaku i think. Save the TC for gw37 Kane. Then BB gw38

Jesus, I was half thinking of transferring him out for Salah under the assumption he doesn’t play the Thursday game before the FA Cup semis.

I wouldn't even captain him tbh never mind tc. Worth a punt though I suppose if you're chasing.

TC Lukaku. Decided I'm going to BB gw37 instead

    Tc vardy this week.bb gw37.
    11 doublers this week.

I am BB this week. Have 15 doublers. So will give the armband to Lukaku.

Am I crazy to put De Gea as TC? I'm not convinced Lukaku will start against BOU. Even if he does I think it is more likely for De Gea to get 2 clean sheets rather than Lukaku to score twice...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    it's weird.

in seasons gone by, tomorrow would basically have been Sergio Aguero day.

i just don't have the balls to TC a keeper. if a goal goes in against him, you're basically stuck on 2 points, with no chance of much better.

if to comes off, well done. but i just couldn't do it.

He hasn't been flush with clean sheets recently. I wouldn't.

Kane on the Golden Boot race with Mohamed Salah - "He [Salah] scores four, let's see what I can come back with." https://t.co/JnX1FhKtIz
This has me nervous about playing TC on anyone else
But I have to keep B.B. till 37 and he looked drunk last weeekend
Be typical of him to go crazy now and complete his ruination of my season
I think I’d rather not TC him and see him go crazy than TC him for 2 blanks at this point

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,336 ✭✭✭✭km79

Interesting to hear Romelu Lukaku say this afternoon he was feeling ill last weekend and couldn't celebrate the derby win because he was throwing up in the dressing-room toilets. Added he's feeling fine again now, which bodes well for Sunday

    Hhhmmmm

Could you not just keep BB for a sgw and TC in gw 37.

Could you not just keep BB for a sgw and TC in gw 37.

    35 not an option
36 possibly but would have to check fixtures
38 is rotation central with random lads getting games for a variety of reasons

I can easily get to 13 DGWers for 37
    14 if I sell salah

I’m not ruling out this week yet
    Current bench is
    Hennessy home to Brighton
Doucore away to hudd (would prob take a hit to get gudmonson )
    Mawson home to Everton
    Dummet home to Newcastle

I can get much out of it in 37 imo
    But will need multiple hits
    And Kane’s fixtures

    Aaaggghhhhh

Back to single captain Lukaku :pac: TC Kane 37 BB 38

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,336 ✭✭✭✭km79

Explain the rationale behind the 38 BB
Imo it’s the worst possible week
The lad who is winning this year played it 38 last year and it was a disaster
You ALWAYS have random lads starting who haven’t all year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,528 ✭✭✭✭dsmythy

Just because someone wants to score goals doesn't mean they will. Their golden boot talk is unconcerning to me.

Ive obsessed about different options alot, I feel it makes most sense, everything considered, to play it gw38. Sure there might be a risk of rotation, but this is also a risk in dgws. Also I think generally teams put out a strong lineup on the final day of the season, they'd like to go out on a high.

    Bench is currently:
    Lossl (WAT)
    Cook (liv, MNU)
    Ogbonna (STK)
    Dummett (ARS)

    Play BB or TC Lukaku/Kane?

Currently using BB, TC Kane in 37.
