There's a lot of negativity on the main page here at the moment, how about a bit of positivity for a change? It's Friday afternoon, weekend coming up, let's try improve the mood a bit.

It's a beautiful day where I am, not a cloud in the sky, and finally warm again. I'm out enjoying the sun, listening to music, having a few cans and got a football match coming up in a few hours, perfect start to the weekend.

What about the rest of ye? Heading out?

Too much Tennent's last night, lying watching Flog It! and trying to teach the dog to boil the spuds.

Stove lit and have Back to the Future l, ll & lll to watch tonight.

I plan to be saying something similar tomorrow! Adjusted for regional differences of course

Enjoy your night Riff. I'm on a train at the minute so I'm experiencing a million different climates as I travel through the country.
The minute I get home it will be off with the bra and on with the pjs! I'm counting down the minutes :) Regardless of the weather I'm planning on having a grand weekend.

Isn't the weather supposed to pick up in Ireland too over the weekend? I hope ye get to enjoy it too, it's such a mood lifter

Only now has it started to pick up. Rain over until perhaps next Tuesday. If the wind eased it could be a half decent Friday evening.

Being Friday it's dinner, and a night of TV with a couple of chocolate bars and a drink or three, in front of a roaring wife fire.

    Enjoy all!.

The Masters is on currently. My favourite time of the year, the unofficial start of 'summer' when that is on TV.

There is something intoxicating about seeing the flowers start blooming over the course of the tournament aligned with the smell of people's freshly grass cut over that same weekend wafting in the air as we sit and watch the Masters with a few beers at hand.

    Perfect!

I remember those dark days.. but look on the brightside, you get to enjoy the weather and have the city all to yourself during the weekdays while everyone else is stuck inside. I used to love a lazy Monday afternoon

I'm going to see Matilda the Musical in the Bord Gáis tomorrow night! Not my kind of gig but the missus is a big fan of that kind of stuff, so it should be fun all the same.

Quiet drink or two afterwards possibly, nothing manic.

I'm finished work until Monday, as is my husband. No plans this weekend, hoping it doesn't rain all weekend as we like to go to the beach at the weekend for a strand walk with the dogs (we have 3 and bring them each at different times).
Grocery shopping, lunch out somewhere, some Battlefront on the Xbox and catch up on some TV shows (you'd nearly want a PA to keep up with everything you're watching!), the usual life admin, clothes washing, house cleaning, get a start on some gardening - if the weather permits.

The sun has only just came out here OP, and I am working all weekend. But The Masters is on, and I then have a week off. So it's not so bad.

Pretty miserable weather here, at the moment. No rain. But, plenty of wind. That caused a power cut.

But, ye know what? It really got most good, right there! My APC saved my computers life ~ yet again! That felt good.

Then, I spent an hour or so dusting down some papers I'll be putting on my site. It was really absorbing and pleasant. Lulled me into a really tranquil frame of mind.

Power came back on, just as I finished. Fired up the machine and found an email from my main mate! Having a couple of brews. Room's warm. Dogs are happy. Nice dinner, tonight.

Yeah. All in all? I can well get into this laid back, contented groove :)

Drinking a gin and tonic out of my Prancing Pony LOTR stein. It's making me want to watch LOTR again, I usually watch it at least twice a year. Now is the time. I can wield this glass stein!!

Just back from a walk. There's definitely a very chilled out vibe about the whole place.
I dunno is it the weather or the light but every person I passed is an aura of calm.
There was even a gang of kids in the shop totally chilled buying mountains of sweets.

Unfortunately after seeing what they were buying I gave in to temptation. I now have 3 sherbert fountains and two dip-dabs in front of me and so help me god I'm going to look like something out of Scarface for the next five minutes.

It was glorious. I emptied them all into a bowl and ate it with a spoon. I now feel a bit sick but it was worth it for that few minutes of dizzying, tangy heights.
You can keep your coke and hookers. The only white powder I'd want presented to me on someone's naked body is grade A, uncut Barrat's.

I didn't think it would be up to that much before I went.
    Best show I've ever seen.
better than anything I've ever seen in the cinema.
You'll be lucky to get tickets.
