    Hey ladies..and guys

    Need to pick your brains...

Our wedding anniversary is fast approaching and I would love to surprise my amazing wife with something different to make her so happy.

I am open to ideas and she has no idea I am planning something.

We have young children so can only get away for 2 nights.

Hope you can come up with some ideas....

    Cheers

Dunboyne Castle is gorgeous. I was there for a spa weekend with a friend. Booked a room and a spa treatment. A bit pricey but very relaxing. We got dinner and breakfast to the room as well just to completely relax in our pjs. You should check it out

Not sure if this is close or too far for a couple of nights but i went here with my OH a few years ago. Its a little bit different. I think the guy was saying it use to be a farm and they converted all the cottages. I thought it was nice anyway plus some of them have Jacuzzis in them!!! :)

Looks the part....Just the traveling from Dublin would take up a fair bit of our time

Very pricey I should say! Worth the price though. Staff and service is brilliant and you will leave feeling great. I've been to a few hotels over the years and Dunboyne has been the only one I've raved about

You could try The Seafield hotel in Wexford. It's handy enough from Dublin and has a fab spa area. Food is amazing too, there's a beach for walks etc and the rooms are lovely.

If we are talking spas I'm always going to recommend monart, it's worth all the hype. Food is amazing too

Another vote for Monart. It's on another level compared to other spa hotels but worth every cent. Mainly because it's completely child free, something your wife might appreciate if you're leaving 2 little ones at home.
You can usually get 2 nights B&B and 1 Dinner for 2 people for about €550 total if my memory serves me correctly.

Lol, my husband brought me there once... I thought it was the sleaziest place he could possibly have found. Still take the piss out of him over it... We call them the Sex Cottages.

Really? I didn't find it sleazy. It's just some old looking cottages designed for a romantic break. Hardly some sordid sex dungeon!

I liked it anyway. Maybe your sleazy is my romantic :D

For two kid free nights away, the Monart Spa in Enniscorthy is fed the place to go. They have pretty good specials on offer there too.
