Registered Post - Attempted Delivery

    Hi there,

    I posted something yesterday registered through An Post, and when I checked the tracker, it said "attempted delivery". What happens next? Will they re-attempt delivery?

    They will usually attempt three times (morning, evening, next morning) before putting a slip in to collect at the depot.

    No. That's only for parcels. Remember registered letters are returned after 3 days (16 for others)

    'attempted delivery' without a slip means they will make another attempt.

    In this case, as the OP is the sender, he doesn't know if there is a slip or not.
