Blissfully happy meander through the sunlit back field that borders on the mighty bright blue ocean, with three of the cats, picking blackberries and flowers and just gazing in sheer awe and delight and gratitude to be here... nowhere more lovely..

Seeing the result of your labours in the form of a bumper harvest from the garden. Onions, apples, celery, cabbage, etc etc all cropping and great quality.

Are you a private pilot? :)

I did one hour in a Cessna in Galway once with the flying club. I was allowed to do some basic manoeuvres too and we went west over Salthill and out to the county.

When coming in to land I was told hands off (in a nice way) . I didn't argue :pac:

As a teenager I was given a flying lesson near Coonagh, Limerick. Always liked the idea of helicopter piloting though. But then I wouldn't mind driving trucks either.

TH via Facebook, learning about the Mantis Shrimp. The things that little guy can do are beyond belief! Worth Googling, kind of gets you thinking...

As a teenager I was given a flying lesson near Coonagh, Limerick. .

I drove passed Coonagh two weeks ago heading into Limerick to a hotel, the one and only time that I ever flew in there was when I was towing advertising signs over the Limerick races, many many many years ago.

I learned a lesson that day, the other PPL with me talked about how he knew every part of ireland as a truck driver, every single part.... when we left Coonagh I fell asleep as he flew, well to cut a long story short, he missed DUBLIN, we ended up lost in the Dublin mountains and had to call the Aer Corp for help. Since that day, I have never fallen asleep in the cockpit of a plane.

    Apples.

A bumper crop this year and great quality. Mrs S is in her element. Stewed apples in the freezer, along with a stack of apple tarts. Apple jelly currently being made and still a couple of boxes ready for family and friends who are calling for some.

^ ahhh signs of autumn, your house must smell amazing! Does Missus Srameen make apple butter? (favourite spread on toast during winter). I've never had apple jelly, sounds nice though!

No apple butter thus far. We'd never heard of it. But you've got her thinking. :)

I had to exchange runners today in Lifestyle Sports.
The staff in there could not have been more helpful and accommodating in getting me the right fit.
