Malfunction indicator

Earlier today while driving, my car (2003 Honda Civic automatic) slowed and stalled, the battery indicator and the malfunction indicator lights came on the dash. I turned the engine off and back on and it drove again a short distance with the malfunction indicator light still on the dash. Later this evening I drove the car…

Earlier today while driving, my car (2003 Honda Civic automatic) slowed and stalled, the battery indicator and the malfunction indicator lights came on the dash. I turned the engine off and back on and it drove again a short distance with the malfunction indicator light still on the dash. Later this evening I drove the car again for a few km and it drives perfectly well but the malfunction indicator is still on the dash.. any advice welcome.

Get a garage to run a diagnostic scan.
