Seen a vegan billboard spewing some s*** about taking a calf away from it's mother.
Got me thinking about all the different crowds who push they're beliefs on the rest of us.

    Vegans
    Atheists
    Pro lifers
    ISIS
    Jehovah's Witnesses.

Like I love meat but I don't lecture anyone who doesn't want to eat it. I believe in God but I don't tell people who don't that is a stupid notion that they don't believe in a large beast of a man living in the clouds.

Or is it just me

You forgot about the biggest cults that force their views. The Catholic Church, Islam, etc.

Isnt AA a kind of cult? I know at one point the 12 part programmed revolved around religious-type beliefs like "I submit to a Higher Power" "I ask the Higher Power to release my torment" etc. I don't know what modern iterations are like but that's nothing more than prayer, in my view.

Not as much as the others. Now days anyway. Don't get me wrong I'm Catholic non practising for obvious reasons but I base my beliefs on them. (Slightly hypocritical i know)

I'm interested in hearing your reasoning for describing atheism is a cult?

I've yet to come across any groups openly forwarding misogyny as a cause.

I think atheists have almost formed into a quasi-religion.

    Extremely dogmatic (like a religion).

    Superiority complex (like a religion)

I bet they'll be praying just as hard when their plane develops mechanical problems.

Their exploitation of young men's susceptibility to cut-price draft Guinness is disgusting. Lowest of the low.

    Oh yes.

I read a brief bio of Elon Musk by a fan boy describing his daily schedule and included the following beauty...

"At 2am, Musk initiates 6 hours of Sleep..."

So you're saying 'the leader' goes to sleep? It's that kind of cult like adoration that makes me cringe hard.

It's just you. Only the last two of those groups listed are actually organisations.
Within the other three there are different levels of fanaticism, ranging from none at all to hard core. Well, I know that's the case for atheists and pro-lifers (I am one of the former, but not the latter), and I would be surprised if it wasn't true for vegans too.

If you really want to see cult-like behaviour, try browsing some gaming forums.

I don't think they do. I hope you didn't insult them by wishing them a Happy Christmas cause that would be very inconsiderate :)

Yeah, the other just thought it enough you be in another religion - or be a woman with a black cat - as justification to have you killed.

Not so. There are very strict definitions of a cult and not even all Catholics would "qualify"
