I thought Tom was going to win again but the Raiders somehow pulled off the result.

Yeah, couldn't just pick fecking storm again this week, felt a bit sorry for the doggies, good game though.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

How about we bring this back one more time for the finals? Here are the fixtures...

    Fri
Melbourne Storm vs South Sydney Rabbitohs

    Sat
Penrith Panthers vs New Zealand Warriors
    Sydney Roosters vs Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks

    Sun
Brisbane Broncos vs St George-Illawarra Dragons

I'm going to go for (deep breath) the Warriors.

Thanks - I didnt' get to see it in the end due to work but it sounds like it was a tight game. I enjoyed the other games over the weekend. Shame games are on Friday when I'm at work.

How about a revival of the game ahead of the new campaign? For the uninitiated...
    Rules

    - Each round of fixtures you pick a team that you think will win.

    - You can't choose any team that you have chosen in previous weeks.

    - If your team don't win then you are eliminated.

We keep going until we have the last player left. (If nobody's teams win, all who were left in at that point roll over to the next week.)

Here are the fixtures for the first round of games:

    Thurs
    Melbourne Storm vs Brisbane Broncos

    Fri
    Newcastle Knights vs Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks
Sydney Roosters vs South Sydney Rabbitohs

    Sat
New Zealand Warriors vs Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
Wests Tigers vs Manly Sea Eagles
North Queensland Cowboys vs St. George-Illawarra Dragons

    Sun
    Penrith Panthers vs Parramatta Eels
Gold Coast Titans vs Canberra Raiders

If you see this post after the season has kicked off, not to worry, you can still get involved. Just pick a fixture that hasn't happened yet.

I'll pick the opener - get the pain of defeat over with. :pac:

I'm backing Anthony Seibold to start his reign at Brisbane with a bang. I'm backing the Broncos.

Managed to record this and stay spoiler free to watch last night. Went from cursing Broncos as they went 16-0 down, to cheering for them when they got it back to 16-12, to cursing them again when they conceded another. :pac:
