Anyone have any clue, probably will be literally whoever has been stuck in the canteen for the last few days, or will they head out to the airport and pick up some of those disgruntled mildly famous people that are hanging around there.

Looking at the news some places still look badly affected, have to say there was feck all snow in the North-West, was driving around earlier and most of it has melted.

Anyway I'm on tenterhooks here waiting to find out who'll be on.

My mother was asking who is on the Gay Byrne show this week,

It'll probably just be a string of Met Eireann people.

Which is fine by me. This is absolutely mental.

Also, family members of the three people who died in Hurricane Ophelia. Because it's the Late Late.

    I’ll take a guess at...

Teresa Mannion and That Guy Who Slipped On Ice.

With all the travel disruption we probably won't get any international guests ... but sure it'll be a nice change to have some locals appear on the LLS.

Maybe RTE could give some of their own people some rare exposure on the Show for once !

The official LLS tweet has been up for a while. The audience who will turn up could be local people or people in RTÉ. I don't think it will be filled up with a lot of people anyway as they may have other things to do for tonight. Also is tonight's show scheduled for the full length on RTÉ One or will it be a short one?

Maybe it will be cancelled and save us all a depressing 2 hours. Sure it's not safe for anyone to be outside anyway. Everything else was cancelled so why not the Late Late Show as well. I think RTE should put on a good film instead.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Is it yet another country and western show. Thought there was only one a few weeks ago. ?

There's a big two day Country & Western thing in the 3arena next weekend so its probably some promo for that? The big c&w show on the Late Late was early last year.

Ah no, that was nearly a year ago on Good Friday 2017

Nearly time for the next one.

Cliona is singing two songs and being interviewed tonight, and possibly reading out an hour of the saddest Death Notices of the Century if they have to fill more time.

The next LLS Country Special is on Friday 20th. April.

I understand that it is wrong to know this information, therefore I will see myself out.

I am just going outside. I may be some time.

I think actor Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Paul, Shaun of the dead) is also stranded in Dublin.

    This too shall pass.

The Darts on ITV4 is surreal,it should be taking place in a packed raucous Minehead Butlins with the biggest darts drinking weekend of the year going on...

but Butlins closed the doors to the Public due to the snow and it is being held in near silence.

    Jesus. Those replies.

Wait a sec...is that us? Is that what we do?

Ah jesus. Right. I'm being sound tonight. I don't care. No bitching, except about the ads.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,409 ✭✭✭✭flazio

I'd say the reason the show must go on is because RTÉ stand to lose a shed load of money if they don't run the text competition.

    This too shall pass.

Death notices will probably be most interesting part of tonight's show. Why didn't they cancel it and put on a mrs Brown special. They have cancelled people of the year awards tomorrow and are showing mrs Brown special.. two nights of Mrs Brown in the snow. Would be Christmas all over again.

So I feel like this may not be what RTE want but I kinda only turn over to the LLS so I can follow the banter on boards....that's normal, right?
