    Is it ok to leave chickens free roam on their usual patch of ground that has 3 inches of snow?

    Yes.make sure their water isnt frozen.theyr tough .

    Mine wouldn't leave her coop with the last three days! I put feed and water in with her so she wouldn't have to.
