Helmets! What do you go by?

So my first lid was an arai axcess 2 cost me 270 sterling I think about 2 years ago. Thought it was great, really safe..... arai big brand has to be better than say a cheap lid right? But a mate was buying a new lid before Xmas and he was on about the sharp ratings. So I check my arai and it’s like 2 and a half stars on…

Ah beat me to it. Watched that video this morning and it's pretty damn informative.

He's one of the few Youtubers who doesn't annoy me too much.

edit:

I myself am using a Spada Flip-face helmet I got for €90 back in August.

It's very comfy, decent space for headphones. The downside is that it's noisy as hell. I'd probably be sickened with myself if I spent €600 on a helmet.

What Mondello and MCUI will only allow.

British standard test helmets are banned as they are dangerous and ****e.
