Gym Routine Help

    Hi Guys,

I'm a bit stumped with the Gym. I go in without any real plan. My aim is to get stronger and improve my stamina for football, so I run on the treadmill for anywhere between 15 - 35 minutes, that could be followed by either a quick session on the elliptical or some lifting (either free weights or the machines).

I have my diet in check for losing weight, so that's a good thing, and I feel like my stamina increasing, as I'm able to run for longer without stopping.

I have no idea what I'm actually doing tough. I have no plan as such that I follow. I don't have a cardio day, leg day ect. Are there any resources out there to help me build a plan to follow?

Your gym should be able to do you up a training plan. If not it’d be a good idea to contact a personal trainer to have a training plan done up. What part of the country are you in and someone might able to recommend someone. From those that I know, If you’re around Kilkenny James Fennelly is very good, Waterford/Wexford Andy Murphy is good and I’m Dublin Graeme Maher is good. Best of luck with the training
