Just been made redundant and was trying to work out how much I'll be entitled to. Just wondering though because I was in the job for ten years. For the first 5 years i was on 500 a week then promoted to 600 for the second five years. So will my payment be based on the 600 pay or on both of them?

I think this will be however many weeks of your final salary multiplied by number of years in job.

Depends, statutory is two weeks pay per year of service + whatever extra was in your contract.

21 weeks @ €600 tax free is the statutory amount.
Does it say anything in your contract about redundancy in excess of that?
