Verne realises that RJ is not in fact unconscious and rushes back to pick up Dhinor. He comms everyone 'EVERYONE CONVERGE AT BAKLETH AND NESTORS POSITION'

Glenn can't open the locks, the security is too strong, but he teleports inside and releases the lock from the inside and starts the repulsor engines.

The repulsor engines usually require assistance from the M-drive, so the ship just slowly drifts to slope where the others are as Verne returns, hovering only a few meters off the ground.

The cargo bay door opens up.

Verne rushes up the cargo ramp and unceremoniously dumps Dhinor on the nearest bed. He calls back to Nestor 'Nestor, please check out the status of the captain, I believe he is grievously injured'. He then heads up to the pilots desk to help Glenn with piloting the ship.

The console display shows Verne that the repulsor engine is struggling to hold the ship up without the aid of the M-drive, it'll probably collapse to the ground in five-ten minutes. Seismic scans show that eruption is twenty minutes away.

He can reroute power with Evan's help to either the repulsor engines to give them a bit of a boost, possibly get away quick enough, though it will require piloting through this ash and the engines might still give out. Or reroute them to the jump engine for an emergency jump. The latter is very dangerous, both for the planet and the ship.

Verne quickly calculates the possibilities and liklihood of them making it out with an emergency jump. He takes a deep breath and calls to Evan; 'RJ, come quickly and help me reroute the remaining power to the repulsors. It might give us enough of a boost to get out of this crater.'

[OOC: no chance of rerouting power to the deflector shields no? lol]

While not as agile as Verne, Evan is not encumbered by a short termpered psychopath. He skips up the ramp.
"Ach! Ye cannae fly 'er on repulsers oonly, y'all burrn her out!" He bellows, running to where enginering normally is - down the back beside the engines.

Evan arrives at the engine room. The M-drive can be seen to be clearly gone. The fusion plants are on overdrive powering the repulsor engines, some warning gauges show a yellow alert on the power load. It's just a matter of cutting life support and lighting, unnecessary in an atmosphere, to provide even more power.

'The captain is incapacitated thanks to you human. We have 2 choices, both are not ideal. But the deflectors have the best chance of getting us out of here without blowing the ship to kingdom come. We don't have much time. Make the modifications'

OOC: Your skill is so high, others would be of little help. You know how to repair drives up to rank-4 and get the most performance and safety out of them. Also to regulate an emergency jump.

Seneca regains consciousness long enough to see Alex save Nestor before the door seals shut. Checking on Bakleth through the window, he sees that he requires urgent medical assistance. He places his hand on the butt of his shotgun. "Surely we aren't leaving him to die?"

BABY UNIVERSE CONSTRUCTION COMPLETE.

Everybody throughout the ship hears the announcment.

Up at the bridge, Verne and Glenn see the console present them with an option. Attempt to calculate a jump to some location (safer in terms of the jump, but the calculation may take so long as to risk the eruption) or emergency jump with random settings.
