    Hello

Like the man himself, the Ray Darcy Show is short this week as they had to squeeze in edited highlights of the IFTAs

The Hot House Flowers will celebrate 30 years since their No.1 album which was called 'People'. A dull name for a dull album from a dull band.

Ex Leinster player Alanah Beirne is one of the Scarlets' top players this year, and she'll be moving to Munster after the Summer

Tadhg Beirne is a top model currently wowing audiences on RTE 1's Dancing With The Stars

Ah no, I appear to have mixed up the Beirne Siblings. But Hollywood should get onboard and make a Beirne body swap movie where they wake up in each others bodies, with hilarious consequences. They could call it Beirne Again or something like that. Anyway, they are on.

Campaigner Sister Stan will be in to discuss "the future of the Catholic Church and her battle against social inequality". Darcy doesn't need any excuse to rant about the Church, but he has one here.

That's all I can see but I'm sure he'll fit in the usual bollix like the audience stuff and the house hunt game

And the Edited IFTAs are on afterwards, what a time to be alive.

There's a Mel Brooks Night on BBC2 which might be better although they aren't showing Blazing Saddles. You wouldn't get away with that anymore

You can't have a Mel Brooks night without Blazing Saddles

We should all just watch Blazing Saddles and discuss it here.

    Much, much better.

    I gotta say, that's a tough poll.

Very unusual round here to have two good options.

I'm gonna wait till after the HHFs are on tonight to vote. Can I do that?

If BBC showed blazing saddles it would be swamped with emails on how offensive it is

Yeah, to be honest I've already lost interest in that poll.

I'm currently trying to locate my Blazing Saddles DVD

Why in the name of little baby Jesus are they showing the Matthew Broderick version of The Producers? What the hell is that?

    Can we change the poll?

    Which song is best?
    A. Buck Rodgers
    B. Don't Go
    C. Springtime For Hitler?

Ah FFS I didn't realise that. Show the original or don't bother.

No, once the poll is added it can't be changed, even though your one is obviously a million times better.

There's a lesson kids, think before you add Polls.

No blazing saddles? Sacrilege. I can imagine a spike in heart attacks if the poor fun police got wind of a movie like that was shown.

I have found my Blazing Saddles DVD

It also has the french and italian names on it, for some reason.

It is also known as 'Le Shérif est en Prison' and 'Mezzogiorno e Mezzo Di Fuoco - Il west tutto da ridere'

Not sure what that's all about. I might have to bring it back to the Virgin Megastore on Aston Quay for a refund.

God damn it! I went onto netflix to watch Spaceballs and its not on it. Looks like I'm going straight to watching Blazing Saddles

    Evening all.

He's not even trying to explain or excuse to the viewers why the show is only on for an hour to make room for a recording of an event which was on Thursday night and we already know the winners of, pathetic RTE.

    Christ almighty. Another DWTS guest?

"How can we get another DWTS angle. Do they have famous siblings?"

    "There's Conor McGregor?"

"Cheaper and more realistic than that"

    "Alanna's brother plays rugby?"

    "Book em!"

35 minutes, it's an uplifting tale about a former slave who makes history by becoming the first ever black mayor in America.

Like, if you made that now it would win bags of oscars.

They might need to review all the N word bits though. That wouldn't go down well now.

I would love parents for once to say, they were so high maintenance as children, we really spoiled them but at least it paid off.
