Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sure stick me down for Wales v Scotland....

.... Seeing as they are being taken up at a fierce rate!

Not sure if its just me, but are the English not somewhat over confident rocking up to the Stadio Olimpico expecting a win having been so sensationally outfoxed just last year.

It's weird, but this is all starting to remind me of the Battle for Helms Deep to be honest and I can almost see the game playing out the same way...

England 4 points down, Farrell lines up a penalty at goal with 5 minutes to go.
The sun is setting and is at England's backs.
Farrell hits the posts and ball rebounds into play. The Itallians are blinded by the sun while Dan Cole gathers (he'll have a full beard grown out by the weekend) and scores between the posts.

Everyone wondering why he's on horseback.

(Oh god it's still only Tuesday.)

Oh, go on, first time for everything. I'll take Italy - England. Fully sure of my impending regret of making this decision, when does one expect a preview thread to be up for a game on Sunday?

Generally sometime after the teams are announced, and sometime before kick off.. :P

If, on waking up with a hangover, LD regrets his drunken impetuousness, I am available - off the bench so as to speak - to preview the teams in the Blue & Green corners. And provided no-one objects to it being a project previewer, qualifying after 7 years of habitation on the Emerald Isle.

I too am short of time, my Haka dancing friend, so I'll pass this one out. But we shall be back for one or other of the alternative games.

Anyone else is free to go ahead. Otherwise, if work is not too busy tomorrow, I'll try and find a moment. Tonight was rugby training, which I think is a perfectly acceptable excuse :)

I'm under pressure this week with work but I'll do either Ireland or Scotland, whichever you are stuck with.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,375 ✭✭✭✭prawnsambo

I'll do the Ireland v Italy thread if that suits.

Instead of site bans, the Mods should make infracted users write game previews instead :pac:

Sounds like back seat modding right there... that's a paddlin'. We'll let you do the Scotland game instead... ;)
