    Lots of drivers haven't got to grips with driving on the left of the road yet never mind confusing them further.

    IIRC travelling on the left was always the norm, there is a Roman quarry where the road is worn down from carts leaving on the left, and it was US wagon driver's who swapped to driving on the right as they sat on the back left horse to control them.
