    What about that Cartier watch?

Nah, fell off the lorry too hard"

    Ivor Novello wasn't threatened...

Colin Farrell auditioned for Boyzone! 😲

Even in his guise as The Penguin, he could beat Mikey Graham in the looks department. 😁

Whatever your opinion is on East 17, you do wish all the best for Brian Harvey.

He has mentally been to hell and back, but all-in-all a decent guy.

    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

Last time I was here you were giving out about the exact same thing 😀

Never understood the English Ow-Ee pronunciation - always corrected it to Owe-Ee in my mind

Haven’t seen a TOTP audience so docile and confused since the 1970’s episodes.

    Possibly (maybe) not Bjork fans.

Of all the 90’s boybands ‘Based in Glasgow’, 911 are hands down my favourite.

The start of this episode is the 80s in 15 minutes. Hit after hit.

This is some quality of a chart, forgot that there were some months this good for music back then.

Decent looking documentary about Loaded magazine on BBC2 at 9pm.

    May feature music by Oasis.

In fact, I stake my house that ‘Rock And Roll Star’ will be the first song you hear.

To all the punchable idiots who ran ‘Loaded’, I quote Valerie Solanas…

‘The male is a biological accident: the Y (male) gene is an incomplete X (female) gene, that is, it has an incomplete set of chromosomes. In other words, the male is an incomplete female, a walking abortion, aborted at the gene stage. To be male is to be deficient, emotionally limited; maleness is a deficiency disease and males are emotional cripples.’

St Vincent on Jools Holland. One of the gigs of the year for me in the Olympia last month.

    1.10am AC/DC: Forever Young documentary

How’s that for a line-up? Acca Dacca, Metallica (who were just about to release the ‘Black Album’) and Motley Crue!

You Can’t Get Thicker Than A Sh1t Rick Witter.

I’ll credit Melody Maker for that one. 😁

And Queensrÿche who had released "Operation: Mindcrime" only a couple of years before which is a concept masterpiece. And The Black Crowes - I saw them a few months after Donington...my first still a teenager gig I went to alone.

Wouldn’t it have been around the time of ‘Empire’?

AC/DC fans getting restless as they play ‘Silent Lucidity’! 😁

Yeah it would have been - OM was the only album of theirs I really rated but it was very good indeed.

I thought Metallica's black album was a disappointment. I didn't buy it on release and never have even though I love the first three and Garage Days.

How can even think of doing the conga when there are thousands of starving people in Ethiopia?

Shame on you, Black Lace! 😞

Just watching the documentary about the making of ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’, and one thing struck me…

Why didn’t they just let each individual artist sing the whole song all the way through, then they could just let Midge and Co. edit how they please.

    A lot less time-consuming.
